Time slots: every 20 minutes starting on the hour. First slot starts at 10m. Last slot is 6pm.
Journey time: 1 hour
Your immersive journey from the Arctic to the Antarctic includes a full trail of interactive, educational, and sensory-rich stations:
Head to the Gift Shop to check in and collect your Stamp Card.
Get a stamp at every station you explore — you’ll need all 8 to claim your gift!
After your expedition, return to the Gift Shop to receive your free gift.

• Calm Sensory Tent – a peaceful, low-stimulation space to settle in if you wish for your expedition
• Modern Explorer Tent – discover what a current-day polar explorer’s camp looks like and see the some of the equipment used on real missions

• Create your very own take home Aurora Borealis artwork
• Fold your own Arctic and Antarctic animals with guided origami craft
📚 Discovery Cove – Educational Corner
• Explore the History of Britain’s polar explorers
• Dive into heroic missions, scientific breakthroughs, and real stories from expeditions across both poles and match the animals with the right pole!
🧭 VR Explorer Zone
• Step inside an Antarctic explorers’ hut in VR
• Or travel across the Arctic tundra in a breathtaking immersive experience
⛷️ Winter Sports Gaming Den
• Try digital skiing, snowboarding, and icy challenges in a fun gaming space
🐾 Hands-On Sensory Section
• Learn about different animals, and tactile exploration station
🦭 Augmented Reality Wildlife Wall
• Watch Arctic and Antarctic animals come to life around you using interactive AR
🎥 Immersive Polar Cinema
• Travel across glaciers, oceans, and frozen landscapes in a 360-style visual journey. Please waddle over to the Polar Cinema at least 15 minutes before your hour ends. Arctic adventures run on tundra time, and once a slot has slipped away into the snow… it’s gone! Missed slots cannot be accommodated, so don’t let your expedition melt away.
